On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Department of Anatomy, AIIMS New Delhi, it gives us immense pleasure to welcome you to AnatEd Summit 2026: Reimagining Anatomy Education – Innovative Strategies for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment, being held on 1^st August 2026 at AIIMS New Delhi.

Anatomy has long served as the cornerstone of medical education, shaping the understanding of the human body and forming the basis of clinical practice. In recent years, however, anatomy education has witnessed significant transformation driven by competency-based curricula, technological advancements, digital learning platforms, artificial intelligence, and evolving learner expectations. These developments compel us to rethink traditional methods and embrace innovative, learner-centered approaches to teaching, learning, and assessment.

AnatEd Summit 2026 has been envisioned as a dynamic academic forum that brings together distinguished educators, clinicians, researchers, and students to deliberate upon these emerging trends and transformations in anatomy education. The symposium aims to foster meaningful dialogue on educational innovation, assessment strategies, learner engagement, educational research, and technology-enhanced teaching practices.
